LANDLORDS BEWARE!!!! LAYNE GRIGGS WAS MY WORST TENANT, A DEADBEAT, AND PATHOLOGICAL LIAR.  LAYNE GRIGGS IS A DEADBEAT, LIAR.

(Every word I write here is the truth that I would swear to under oath in court and have documenation as proof. All the court papers i've posted are public record through Pima County Justice Court).

 

I was a landlord for Layne H. Griggs who signed a year lease to rent one of my houses. He was my worst tenant.

 

he was constantly late on his rent for months and months, constantly making up crafty lies and false promises and stringing me on and on. I grew sick of his lies and asshole attitude and eventually kicked him out.  I get the feeling he moves from house to house, screwing landlords over.  I made the mistake of not doing a thorough background and credit check on him.  live and learn.

 

After kicking him out, he stupidly moved a few houses down the road, so it was easy to track him down.

I filed a lawsuit against him for back rent. However, He avoided the certified mailed court summons for more than half a year thinking he could get away with it.  I finally forced the court summons on him by hiring a process server/constable.

 

After forcing him into court, I won a monetary judgement against him. He has made it clear to me that he will not pay it.  Personally, I don't care about the money (it is a very tiny amount to me) , but just want his name and reputation known around the community as a lying deadbeat tenant.

 

I'm very satisfied with an unpaid civil judgement against him that will haunt his credit/background for 7 to 10 years. The court papers i've posted here are all public record.

I have been contacted by relatives and friends of his (via this page) in which they detail his child abuse/neglect for his adopted kids as well as alcohlic tendencies.
